Ice Mountain – Glacial Seracs
(K-5th | 60 min)
In this drawing lesson artists will learn how to draw a glacial serac, a tall and jagged ice tower formed when a glacier contracts and pushes ice upwards. Artists will break the serac into geometric shapes, choose an intentional color scheme, and add a glowing full moon rising behind it to create a dramatic nighttime scene. Water over marker will be used to create a translucent ice effect.
Each lesson comes with a step-by-step art video tutorial and downloadable lesson plan designed to make teaching easy and learning fun.
