How to Draw Emotions
(K-5th | 45 min)
In this lesson, artists will learn how to draw 16 different emotions in a cartoon style inspired by Kawaii drawing, doodle drawing, cartoons, and emoji faces. Drawing feelings and faces helps us learn to identify our own emotions by bringing awareness to our bodies and how that connects to our feelings. Naming emotions and talking about our feelings helps us build positive relationships and fosters understanding, empathy, and problem-solving.
Each lesson comes with a step-by-step art video tutorial and downloadable lesson plan designed to make teaching easy and learning fun.
