In this lesson, artists will design and sculpt a whimsical mushroom cottage using air-dry clay, then paint and decorate their piece. They’ll explore three-dimensional shapes and structures while building fine motor skills. This project can be adapted for kiln-fired clay and glaze, and artists may also create a small fairy scene around their cottage.
