Cookie Sheet Monotypes

(K-3rd | 2×40 min)

In this playful printmaking project, artists use cookie sheets as printing plates to explore monotypes. They’ll roll on paint, transfer images with pressure, and pull one-of-a-kind prints. Once dry, artists have the option to embellish with crayons or colored pencil details to make each print colorful and unique.

Each lesson comes with a step-by-step art video tutorial and downloadable lesson plan designed to make teaching easy and learning fun.

You get:

  • A guided video to learn from and reteach or play directly for your artists
  • A printable PDF with learning objectives, vocabulary, “I Can” statements, shoppable supply lists, teaching tips, and step-by-step process.
  • National Art Standards alignment and fun facts to enrich every project
