Clay Plate
(K-5th | 2×45 min)
Students will create a clay plate with intricate stamped designs and symbols using a variety of tools, both traditional and unconventional. This project can be customized to fit seasonal themes by selecting stamps and images that reflect the time of year. Once sculpted and textured, students will color their plates with a vibrant oil pastel and watercolor resist process.
