In this bird drawing lesson, artists follow a simple guided draw along and then make creative choices to finish their work. Bold color combinations, implied texture, and blending bring the bird alive. Branches that extend to the edge of the paper reinforce the impact of open composition and each original bird with personal details make each piece of art unique. This is a great oil pastel project, but you can substitute any drawing media.
